Mr. Barry Whalen
Having worked in the Funeral Profession since the tender age of 18, I am proud to have a genuine passion for this unique service. Being involved in this sensitive industry, is simply a way of life to me - and I have been so privileged to have been entrusted by countless families down through the years, to arrange and conduct the funerals of their loved ones.
I was honoured to have taken ownership of J. & J. Lindsay: Funeral Directors in May of 2022, a company that was established by the Lindsay Family and has been running for over 90 years.
As a small, privately owned company, our promise is to provide a 24-hour, genuine, caring and professional service, taking care of you and your loved one - with the utmost sincerity, dignity and respect. Our dedicated team we will ensure full attention to every detail, assuring you that all aspects of the funeral arrangements are in safe hands.
My professional qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Funeral Directing as well as obtaining Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Management. I was also accepted onto the National Association of Funeral Directors Executive Board in 2024. These credentials help keep me abreast of the constant changes in the Funeral Profession.
